Slice Out Hunger has raised over $1.3 million to fund hunger relief efforts across the US. It all started in New York City, where a group of pizza lovers came together to run a pizza party featuring pizza donated by the city’s top pizzerias. They donated all the money raised to a different hunger relief organization each year. Today, Slice Out Hunger’s annual Dollar Pizza Party has become an annual tradition, but the organization has grown far beyond NYC. With a list of over 700 pizza partners across the US, Slice Out Hunger is able to react to need by producing campaigns and events that help those in need through the power of pizza.
